Life Coach Training
There are different schools offering life coach training tailored to every need and budget. Actually, in the USA alone there are more than 65 life coach training programs! You just have to decide what kind of training you want, and what your budget is.
You can find both in person training and teleclasses (very convenient if you don´t live around). Training courses length go from months to years, and prices range from a few hundred dollars to thousands. Most of the courses are good so it really is up to you to decide. However, I recommend you look for a life coach course that offers not only training on coaching skills but lots of practice opportunities, learning environment with other coaches and mentors, business establishment information, and that are accredited by the ICF (that means you will get a certification at the end of the course. In their ICF accredited course you will learn coaching skills and tools, impeccable business sense, and marketing strategies. In just six months you will be a certified life coach with real paying clients. My teacher was excellent, customer service is one of the best I have ever dealt with, and the price is reasonable. They also offer a free introductory course to "get the inside scoop on what it's like to be a life coach" and "hear straight talk about the profession of coaching."I do recommend to have a look at other alternatives until you find what resonates with you. Some other well-known academies are: CoachU and the Coaches Training Institute. And if you search for "life coach training" you will find much more. Just make sure that they offer accredited courses (if you are going to pay anyway at least get also a certification). ¿En español?
